Chatline

Terms of Service

Effective 14 September 2026. These terms govern the use of Chatline, operated by Codecano Technology, FF-103, Skywalk, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad - 382424, by the business that creates an account (“you”, the “Customer”).

1. The service

Chatline is a software platform for sending and receiving WhatsApp messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). You connect your own WhatsApp Business Account through Meta’s Embedded Signup and remain its owner. We provide the dashboard, inbox, contacts, templates, campaigns, automation, public API and webhooks around it.

2. Fees

  • We charge a subscription fee for the platform, per the plan you choose. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST where applicable. Invoices are issued for every charge.
  • WhatsApp conversation charges are billed to you directly by Meta through the payment method attached to your WhatsApp Business Account. Chatline never bills you for messages and does not mark them up.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Failed payments may lead to a temporary suspension of sending features after Razorpay’s retries.
  • Plan limits (numbers, team members, contacts, campaigns, automation rules, API access) apply as shown on the pricing page.

3. Your obligations

  • Comply with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, the Commerce Policy and Meta’s terms. Meta may restrict your account for violations; we cannot reverse Meta’s decisions.
  • Obtain valid opt-in consent before sending marketing messages, keep records of it, and honour opt-outs (we enforce STOP keywords and WhatsApp’s native opt-out automatically, but the responsibility is yours).
  • Do not send spam, unlawful, deceptive or harmful content, and do not use the service for prohibited goods or services.
  • Keep your credentials, API keys and webhook secrets confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Provide accurate billing and GST details.

4. Data

You own the data in your workspace. We process End User data on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You are the controller of your customers’ data and must have a lawful basis to message them. Media is retained for the period you configure and then deleted.

5. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; WhatsApp delivery depends on Meta’s platform, on the recipient’s device and on messaging limits set by Meta. Support is available by email at chatline.support@codecano.com.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, Meta’s policies or the law, or that put the platform or other customers at risk. You may close your account at any time from the dashboard; data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim in a 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for actions taken by Meta on your WhatsApp Business Account, or for messages you send.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at FF-103 have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the dashboard or by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
